The effect is made worse by how casual Sans is being over Water Tribe colors, like it doesn't matter at all. Which — is a good thing, Sokka has to remind himself, because it's sounding more likely that this guy doesn't have a clue who he is or where he's from. But if that really is true, then it also means that Sokka is very far from anything familiar.
And yet, even with this very serious revelation, Sokka can't help the thought in the back of his mind that wonders if it would be safe for him to change into something blue, too.
