This could be going worse. It could be better, of course, but there are no sirens blaring and there's nobody trying to sell her vacuums as a cover for trying to stab her to death, so in Helly's book that balances things out quite nicely. She feels awkward in her chosen attire, a dark green velvet dress, but not because she's never worn anything like it before – it's more that she feels like she's abiding too closely by the rules. Not her usual state of being, by any means.

She's starting to understand now why alcohol is a big part of this kind of thing, and when she spots the bar cart loaded with offerings she decides there's no harm in helping herself. Everyone else is doing it. But before she can make her choice, someone else swings around and almost bumps into her.

"Oh." Big grin. Helly is so very good at keeping up appearances; she should be getting an award. "I don't think you can gift-wrap a concept, so you probably shouldn't put it on the list anyway."
