Nineteen thirty-four. Okay. Sure.

No, actually, Sans doesn't want to deal with that. Sans has been thinking this place looked old-fashioned, and here's someone claiming they're from 1934? That time is messed up is something he already knew, but this is something different. He's still waiting on the reset. (Or for the anomaly to come back, but he tries not to think about that.) He can remember that day in the Underground, which means it hasn't happened yet. But now he's here, and something else is happening with time. He's sure his face is doing something complicated, and he's glad he doesn't have to worry about that right now.

When he talks, he sounds calm. That's not something he has to relearn in this new body. "Nineteen thirty-four? That some kind of joke, buddy?" He doesn't think it is, but he has to ask.
