John would be disgusted to know that his thoughts are following a similar line. He's grown used to having his own home. He has protections set up and so he can take time alone instead of always having to be on top of his act. It's been two years since he last lived with someone, and while his mask has improved a great deal since then, he hadn't had to use it in every corner of his life.

Now he's stuck in this strange 'town', in the same house as a stranger, with nothing to protect him. It reminds him of his childhood, which would be enough to despise it no matter what.

He refuses to let that trap him. He's going to get out. He's going to have everything he worked for again, no matter what it takes.

"I'm afraid it's not one of mine, either. What do you mean by 'double-kidnapped'?"
